Bucket list
Dantes Inferno: Dante Alighieri
I have always been interested in dark ages and what goes on in it. Dantes Inferno describes a man named Dante (obiviously) exploring Hell. I personally am fascinated by Hell though being a Christian I do not wish to visit. I also want to compare a persons version of of todays standard with the 14th centuries.
Purgatorio: Dante Alighieri
My want to learn more about the dark ages drives me to continue the Inferno series as I now call it. Dante now has traveled on to Pugatory which is considered the waiting room. I persoannly do not believe in Purgatory, but it does sound interesting.
Paradiso: Dante Alighieri
The last book in the Inferno series tells on Dantes adventure through Heaven. Now this is the ultimate goal of all Christians so naturally people like myself want to hear what is awaiting us. Lastly this will have furthered my knowledge of poetic verse with the version I have.
Odyssey: Homer
This is a study on Greek culture over everything. I have always loved Greek mythology though and just bits of the story I have heard have been excellent. The story tells of Odysseus who conquers a city and is cursed to no return to his homeland for a time period.
Iliad: Homer
This is the prequal to the Odyssey, but in this it tells of the battle and fall of Troy rather than the journey back home. This one peeked my interest with the tale of battle and fall of the great city Troy. Which is theory later became the Romans and conquered the Greeks again.
Anna Dressed in Blood: Kendare Blake
With the beggining to read a few pages it already tells of paranormal activity. I am a skeptic to paranormal stuff so it caught my eye. In the short summary it also tells of how he kills the the dead. The book is about a boy named Cas Lowood who apparently goes around slaying ghosts.
The lost hero: Rick Riordan
This is about a boy named Jason who has lost his memory and now seeks it back. I have read the Percy Jackson series which are some of my favorite books. It also tells of more Greek mythology which I am a huge nerd for.
Inheritance: Christopher Paolini
The last book to Eragon which a boy named Eragon hatchs his own dragon and now tries to topple the evil empire that Lord Galbatorix. The past three books have been amazing as I have read them so I expect very much the same from these.
Daughter of the Drow: Elaine Cunningham
I have never read any of the authors books, but it a a good review from R.A. Salvatore whos work I love. Liriel who is a drow seeks the world of light and wishs to venture there. Dark elfs have always been my most favorite fantasy races out of them all.
The Sword of Shannara: Terry Brooks
The book sounds really interesting just from the summary with being a big fantasy geek and all. Shea is the last of her bloodline that can use the Sword of Shannara to save her land. My dad who is a major book worm has reccomended this to many times.
